A 26-year-old woman in Siberia has been found guilty of strangling her old neighbour to death using a bra.

A 26-year-old woman in Siberia faces 15 years in prison on charges she killed a 65-year-old neighbour with her bra, police said Tuesday.

The woman attacked the neighbour in July after he refused her request for money to buy liquor to continue a late drinking binge.

Enraged by the rebuff, she tackled the older man and began choking him with her bare hands.

He was able to slip away at first, but she took off her bra, looped it around his neck, and strangled him until he died, reports said.

The woman's male companion, who was present during the attack and did nothing to stop it, may also be charged.u00a0
