Khan should know that life is not a Chak De! India film. Owning a team isn't about sending SMSes and having your photograph on huge billboards throughout the country. Sportsmen like Saurav Ganguly, Chris Gayle and Brendon Mccullum are very talented players in their own right and have to be given the respect that they deserve.

Heroes
They are the heroes of the team just like Khan is the hero of his films. The players have to be encouraged. You must have faith and conviction in them. Why is he being a fair-weathered owner?

Could he not have spoken about his team's glowing performance when they lost to Rajasthan Royals by a whisker in the Super Over?

He should learn from Shane Warne, who motivates his team all the time.

Stick to acting
Khan's behaviour shows his lack of confidence in his own team. This will only demoralise them further. Maybe, he should just stick to acting in his movies and dancing at others' weddings.
