Families need to take the initiative in seeing that women have access to the vaccine centres. Often, we see women bogged down by work or putting themselves last when it comes to the hierarchy in family units even because of social conditioning, and vaccine doses may be missed because of this. Empower and power the women to take the vaccine, make the road smoother for them.
Just like access to healthcare with gender parity is important, this comes under the healthcare umbrella, too.
The jab is fab, but that is only when it is equal, with women, too, bearing some onus to help with that.
