In a posting on Twitter, Southall misspelt the name of one of the islands that it is his job to promote to the world.

On his second day at work on Hayman Island, he mentioned "leaving the chefs table and chocolate room on Hayward Island after a stunning gastronomic presentation".

The mistake was corrected after an hour, but the damage was done after several bloggers spotted his mistake.
