Bridegroom Tevfik Altun's father Arif Altun and his two aunts - Yasemin Koseoglu and Munire Koseoglu - were killed in the incident in Gaziantep province on Sunday, Xinhua reported citing Anatolia news agency.
When Tevfik arrived at the wedding ceremony in Akcagoze village, he was given the gun by his relatives. When he started firing in the air, he could not control the gun and accidentally fired at the crowd.
Four of the wounded are in critical condition, while Tevfik Altun was taken into custody.
