The Ohio State Highway Patrol confirmed during a news conference on Wednesday that a pilot, co-pilot and seven passengers were on board the 10-seat Hawker H25 small private jet when it crashed into a house Tuesday afternoon, Xinhua reported.
The plane clipped a telephone wire before hitting an apartment building and then crashing into an embankment behind that building. Previous reports said at least two people were killed.
Seven of the nine victims came from a real estate company based in Florida, said the company in a statement released on Wednesday. The pilot and co-pilot were also killed in the crash.
