Beijing: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has a penchant for selfies, today clicked one with his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang in what could be termed as a power-packed selfie with premiers of two big nations in one frame.

Modi pulled out a smartphone during his visit to the Temple of Heaven here as he posed for the shot with Chinese Premier Li. "It's selfie time! Thanks Premier Li," Modi tweeted along with the photograph in which both leaders sported wide smiles.

Modi's selfie, an integral part of his overseas trips, was immediately liked on Facebook by its founder Mark Zuckerberg.

"Where selfies are concerned, there's always scope for one more! PM @narendramodi with Premier Li, Temple of Heaven," External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted along with the photograph. Modi also took a number of selfies with students and children at the joint Yoga and Taichi event at the Temple of Heaven.

The Prime Minister sportingly took selfies with smartphones of children as they jostled for getting clicked with Modi. "Enjoyed interacting with China's youth," Modi tweeted later. Modi is known for taking selfies on foreign tours with leaders, supporters and children.

Last year, during his trip to Australia, Modi posted a selfie with his 'friend' and Australian counterpart Tony Abbott.

The selfie signed by the two leaders was taken at the famous Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). Modi also posted his selfie with Li on his Chinese microblog Weibo account. The post was commented by over 34000 viewers.

Modi, who opened his microblog Weibo account ahead of his visit, kept posting photos and tweets of his programmes during the day. His Weibo account has over 60,000 followers and over 12 million hits.
