A group of eleven overweight women from Singapore have bared all for a calendar to raise funds for a young Vietnamese leukemia patient.

A group of eleven overweight women from Singapore have bared all for a calendar to raise funds for a young Vietnamese leukemia patient.

Sim, a businesswoman who sells plus-sized clothing over the Internet, brought together 10 large women recently for the black and white photo shoot, according to China Press.

Sim said all the women and the photographer were her clients and close friends.

"Their daring act in exposing their excess flesh is not to promote obesity, which can cause health problems," the Star Online quoted Sim as saying.

"We just wanted to show that it's not the end of the world being fat," she said.

Sim hoped that the calendar would help big ladies love their bodies and enjoy life.

The calendars will be sold for S25 dollars, of which S17 dollars will go to charity.
