London: A 33-year-old woman in the UK has been left blind in one eye after two teenagers targeted her in a laser pen attack. The incident happened as the woman walked under a railway bridge in Clydebank on September 10.
Both boys were described as being white, aged about 14 or 15 and wearing dark-coloured sportswear.
The woman was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and later reported the incident to police. Detective Sergeant Kevin Mulvenna, of Police Scotland, said: “This was a completely unprovoked and senseless attack. The youth responsible must be caught as soon as possible.”
