The qualified applicant will be based at Buckingham Palace, but should also be willing to spend around two months away at other Royal residences, including Balmoral and the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
The person is also expected to work 45 hours a week, and accommodation will be provided "for which there will be a salary adjustment", the Daily Mail reported.
The applicant must "possess a friendly, polite and approachable disposition with the ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality" as they wait hand-and-foot on the Royals and their guests.
The palace is an equal opportunities employer, and is also open to applications from EU nationals, but they must have a good command of English.
The job's duties include collecting and delivering of tea/coffee trays, breakfast trays and newspapers for Royal and Household purposes in an efficient and discreet manner.
To be responsible for the valeting of guests and Members of the Royal Household invited to stay with the Royal Family ensuring that clothes and uniforms are cared for to the highest standards.
And to undertake messenger duties when on duty at Privy Purse Door ensuring that all post, pouches, despatch boxes and messages are delivered to Members of the Royal Family and employees in a timely manner.
