An online dating profile created by Julian Assange has been unearthed, disclosing that the WikiLeaks editor sought "spirited, erotic" women "from countries that have sustained political turmoil".
WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange's old online-dating profile was disclosed yesterday, portraying the anti-secrecy crusader as a narcissistic cad.
"Passionate, and often pigheaded activist intellectual seeks siren for love affair, children and occasional criminal conspiracy," Assange, calling himself Harry Harrison, wrote in his 2006 OKCupid.com profile.
"I like women from countries that have sustained political turmoil.

Western culture seems to forge women that are valueless and inane," the profile continued, accompanied by images of the accused rapist showing off his flowing golden locks.
The lonely leaker said that he seeks an "erotic non-conformist."
The profile, part of a free online matchmaking service, was last accessed December 31, 2006, the year Assange, founded WikiLeaks, according to Sam Yagan, CEO of OKCupid.
It was written years before Assange gained international notoriety by publishing secret State Department communications and internal Pentagon documents related to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
He also boasted of his 6-foot-2-inch frame, saying women will notice his: "Height". He bragged that his answers to a series of questions about past relationships made him an "87 per cent slut."
Asked for the most private thing he was willing to admit, he said he had "Asian teen girl stalkers".
He ended his profile with another warning: "Do not write to me if you are timid. I am too busy. Write to me if you are brave." Assange has been detained in a London jail since December 7 for sex-crimes.
