A real-life Spiderman has been brought down to earth after he was dumped by his fiancee and sent to a mental hospital because he can't stop climbing tall buildings.
Doctors eventually declared daredevil Tihomir Petrunic (38) sane, but obsessed after the police hauled him down from a 100ft high crane in Duga Resa, Croatia.

Petrunic, an insomniac, said he pulled his latest stunt because he was so fed up with not being able to sleep.
"A neighbour saw me up the crane and alarmed police because she thought I was trying to commit suicide,"
said Petrunic.
The wannabe Spiderman said he just wanted to enjoy the view as he often did when climbing up all the higher buildings in his town.
"I can't help it I have to climb things.
"I was pleased [when I climbed up the crane]. The view was incredible."
But he added, "My fiancee got tired of it, though, and left me. Who would want to put up with that?"
