Chinese teen

China's youngest plastic surgery addict is a 16-year-old girl, who claims to have undergone 100 invasive cosmetic procedures in three years to “improve” her looks. Zhou Chuna, a Chinese influencer, has built her online career by documenting her extreme transformation from a normal-looking girl to a doll-like idol. Despite claiming to have experienced severe side-effects due to plastic surgery, she says it’s all worth it.

Zhou tells her online followers that she used to be ugly, describing her eyes as too small, and her nose as too big. She reminisces about how people made fun of her appearance and made her do the hardest tasks on class clean-up duty, while the pretty girls always had it easy. So, at 13, Chuna started threatening her parents to pay for procedures. When she noticed an improvement in how people treated her, there was no looking back. From fillers to ear cartilage rhinoplasty and liposuction, she has done it all, spending nearly $6,20,000 on all surgeries. She tells her fans, “When I wake up, I know I will be more beautiful. I am never afraid of pain, I am afraid of ugliness.”

Indiana University’s Daniella Chusyd and her team, who conducted the research on obesity in captive elephants, strapped jumbo-sized fitness monitors to the ankles of 35 female Asian elephants and nine male Asian elephants. Apparently, since baby elephants get enough exercise in zoos, they maintain a relatively low body fat percentage, the study suggests.
