Prime Minister Narendra Modi opened the Vantara animal rescue and rehabilitation center in Jamnagar, Gujarat, on Sunday during his visit to the state. The center covers 3000 acres in the Reliance Jamnagar refinery complex and is home to over 1.5 lakh rescued animals and 2,000 species, many of which are endangered.
