The filmmaker told Mid-day during our Bombay Film Story podcast, that he never attached any judgement while portraying characters inspired by the world of crime. He also said that real gangsters do not care about how they are portrayed in cinema.

Uddhav Thackeray paid tributes at the memorial of his father Bal Thackeray on his death anniversary. Uddhav was accompanied by his son Aaditya, wife Rashmi Thackeray.
