On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Jackie Shroff and Amruta Fadnavis performed yoga. Shroff also appealed to members of the media to take care of their health and not rush for things. The celebration aims to unite thousands in the practice of yoga, promoting health and wellness on a global scale.
Today on 19th April, the first phase of voting for the Lok Sabha election 2024 kicked off. In Maharashtra, the voting began in five seats of Nagpur, Ramtek (SC), Bhandara-Gondia, Chandrapur, and the Naxal-affected Gadchiroli-Chimur (ST). Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis and his wife Amruta Fadnavis were seen casting their votes at a polling booth in Nagpur. After casting his vote, Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis said, "Festival of democracy has started. I appeal to all the people to vote and strengthen democracy and register their participation in this festival of democracy." Maharashtra Congress president Nana Patole cast his vote at a polling station in Bhandara.
