India is mourning the loss of Dharmendra, the beloved He-Man of Bollywood, who has passed away at 89. From a small village in Punjab to becoming one of India’s most iconic superstars, Dharmendra’s life was a journey of raw struggle, grit, passion, and an unbreakable dream.

Mumbai played host to the prestigious WAVES Summit 2025 (World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit), which kicked off today with a grand inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The four-day event brought together some of the biggest names in Indian cinema and entertainment. Bollywood icons like Shah Rukh Khan, Mohanlal, and Akshay Kumar were present, along with a stellar lineup of actors and creators including Jackie Shroff, Deepika Padukone, Farhan Akhtar, Shaan, and Nushrratt Bharuccha. Esteemed personalities such as Karan Johar, Hema Malini, and Oscar-winner Guneet Monga also marked their presence, as the summit celebrated the convergence of cinema, music, and digital content under one roof.
