In a tragic incident, 11 people died and 5 others were injured as the passengers of Pushpak Express were hit by Karnataka Express. 8 ambulances and several railway rescue vans were sent to the spot in Pachora of Jalgaon district. As per Railway officials, an incident of alarm chain pulling occurred at Pachora following which a few passengers deboarded the train. The chain-pulling incident occurred due to a false rumour of fire in one of the adjacent coaches. At the same time Karnataka Express was crossing through there and going in the opposite direction. The passengers were hit by the second train.

After Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut’s claim that the government will collapse within 15 days, his party supremo Uddhav Thackeray claimed elections can take place in the state anytime now. Thackeray made the statement while addressing a public rally in Maharashtra’s Jalgaon just hours after Raut’s ‘’Shinde government will fall’’ remark. The former CM also hit out at Shidne faction for blaming him to have run the govt from home. Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut on Sunday claimed the “death warrant" of the Eknath Shinde-led Maharashtra government has been issued and it will collapse in the next 15-20 days.
