November 26, 2024, marked the 16th anniversary of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack, a tragedy that deeply impacted the nation. On this occasion, Maharashtra Governor Radhakrishnan paid floral tributes to the brave officers and martyrs at the Martyrs` Memorial, located at the Police Commissioner`s Office. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also paid his respects at the memorial. Additionally, Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar joined in paying homage to the courageous individuals who lost their lives during the attack. The memorial serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by the brave hearts who fought to protect Mumbai and its people during the tragic events of November 26, 2008.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis along with Governor Ramesh Bais paid floral tributes to the Bravehearts at Martyrs` Memorial on the premises of the Police Commissioner`s Office in Mumbai on November 26. Today, it marks the 15th anniversary of the 26/11 Mumbai attack. Commonly referred to as 26/11, these coordinated assaults by a group of 10 terrorists did mayhem on the streets of Mumbai and sent shockwaves through the nation and the world. Terrorists from the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror group had entered the city of Mumbai on the night of November 26, 2008. Over the course of four days, they killed 166 people and injured 300.
