Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Chenab railway bridge, the world’s tallest rail bridge, linking Kashmir to India’s rail network. Part of the Rs 43,780 crore USBRL project, it features 36 tunnels and 943 bridges over 119 km. This marks Modi’s first visit to Jammu and Kashmir after Operation Sindoor, following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack

While protest over BPSC paper leak continues, Lok Sabha MP Pappu Yadav on January 07 said that Jan Suraaj Chief Prashant Kishor should enrol himself in any drama show. He also said that he has called for ‘Bihar Bandh’ for January 12. On 6th January, Prashant Kishor was arrested for “illegal” fast unto death and granted unconditional bail shortly after. He has been hospitalised due to dehydration and infection.
