Since Wednesday evening, at least six people have died in rain-related incidents across Uttarakhand. Many pilgrims and tourists are now stranded on the Sonprayag-Kedarnath road due to the severe weather. Cloudbursts, landslides and other natural disasters have affected Kedarnath Yatra Route. Since the night of July 31 to August 1, 36 people have been missing due to the Himachal cloudburst and subsequent flash floods that caused extensive damage. Due to Himachal cloudburst, more than 50 people are missing, and two bodies have been recovered so far.
