TMC leaders staged a walkout in the Rajya Sabha on March 10, protesting the refusal to discuss the issue of fake voter IDs. They claimed their concerns were not being heard in the Upper House. The second part of the Parliament’s budget session began today and will run until April 4. Earlier, on Thursday, a delegation from the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) met with the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of West Bengal. They urged the government to introduce a "unique ID" system on voter cards to curb the inclusion of fake voters in the electoral rolls. The TMC has been pushing for stronger measures to ensure clean and accurate voter lists in the state. Watch video for more details.

Ten Nepalese nationals have been arrested by Mumbai police for procuring Aadhaar cards fraudulently. During interrogation, the investigators found that they had helped foreign nationals including those from Nepal and Bangladesh, and also some Non Resident Indians (NRIs) obtain Aadhaar cards by using bogus documents. Meanwhile, the deaths in Mumbai’s police force rose by 60% in 2020 compared to previous years. Watch this video to find out more.
