Police say the suspect fled before officers arrived and no description has been released so far. The incident comes just weeks after another Indian-origin murder in Toronto, raising alarm within the community as authorities continue to investigate both cases.  

Tragedy struck Brown University in Providence as two students were killed and nine others severely injured during final exams when an active shooter opened fire inside the Barus and Holley Engineering building. Authorities quickly launched an emergency response after a 911 call at 4:05 PM local time, sealing off the campus and surrounding streets. The suspect, a man in his thirties possibly wearing a camouflage mask, remains at large. Surveillance footage shows an individual in dark clothing, though no clear facial identification is available.
