The youth wing of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the Chhatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti, on Thursday joined the protest to demand the removal of Gajendra Singh Chauhan as FTII chairman.

FTII chairman Gajendra Chauhan on Saturday dismissed reports of him being critical about veteran actors Anupam Kher and Rishi Kapoor, who have reportedly asked him to quit from the post. Chauhan further said that he has been appointed by the Government of India and only it can decide on his position at FTII.
