Reasi terror-attack
Following the Doda terror attack that killed four soldiers, security officials in the region are on high alert. An encounter between security forces and terrorists erupted in the Kastigarh area of Jammu and Kashmir`s Doda district on July 18th again. The J&K Police confirmed the encounter and further details are awaited. This incident follows the recent loss of four army soldiers in another encounter with terrorists in Doda. To support anti-terror operations, Village Defence Guards have joined in, focusing on dense forests in Jammu. They are urging authorities to punish locals suspected of aiding terrorists. Helicopters and drones are also deployed to locate and neutralize the terrorists.
There`s a major twist in the deadly Reasi terror attack. Reasi SSP Mohita Sharma disclosed significant developments regarding the terror attack on June 19, revealing that three Pakistani terrorists carried out the assault with local assistance. Hakimdeen, arrested earlier in the day, confessed to guiding the terrorists, arranging their shelter, and being present during the attack, where he heard gunshots. He facilitated their escape and accommodated them at his residence a day before the incident, ensuring they evaded CCTV surveillance during reconnaissance. The police are intensively interrogating him as part of ongoing efforts to apprehend or neutralize the terrorists responsible, emphasizing relentless pursuit until justice is served.
