Six lives were lost, and over 40 individuals sustained injuries following a stampede at the Tirupati temple premises during Vaikuntha Ekadasi celebrations. The incident occurred near Vishnu Niwasam, close to the Tirumala Srivari Vaikuntha Dwara ticketing counter, amid the distribution of ‘darshan’ tokens. (PIC/PTI)
