Americans are remembering 9/11 with moments of silence, readings of victims` names, volunteer work and other tributes 21 years after the deadliest terror attack on US soil in 2001.

The United States came to halt on 11 September, 2001, which is also known as the 9/11 World trade centre attack, after Osama Bin Laden orchestrated a massive attack on the country.
