While a pre-season transfer window is there for the cash-rich tournament, there have been many experts who have spoken about the need for IPL to have a a mid-season transfer and loan window to trade cricketers like it's there in football leagues aboard.

Former Indian opener Aakash Chopra has voiced his support for the idea.
Chopra has posted on Twitter, "Corey & Boult haven't played...Steyn, Guptill have hardly played. There's a strong case for a transfer-window during the IPL too."
