Former Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI)âÂu00c2u0080Âu00c2u0088and Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) chief Anurag Thakur may have no official post or role in cricket administration since the Supreme Court-appointed Lodha Panel recommendations came into effect recently, but that has in no way reduced Thakur's 'presence' here. The former administrator stares down at you from numerous, huge hoardings strategically placed in and around the picturesque HPCA Stadium despite him having left office here quite some time ago. While a message from one billboard reads “Welcome to HPCA”, from another he is seen batting for conservation of forests in this beautiful green hilly town.
