Australia cruised to a comfortable 34-run victory over defending champions Pakistan in the league match of the Twenty20 World Cup at Gros Islet on Sunday.
Pakistan were off to a shaky start losing three wickets for 34 runs.
Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi (33) and Misbah-ul-Haq (41) did try to revive the 192-run chase.
After winning the toss, Australia skipper Michael Clarke decided to bat first.
Australia were bowled out for 191 runs against Pakistan in a Group A match.
Shane Watson smashed 81 off 49 deliveries wth the help of seven fours and four sixes while David Hussey struck 53 off 29 balls that included five sixes and two fours.
The last over from Mohammad Aamer saw the dismissal of five batsman, two of them were run outs.
