The president will be discussing ways and means to improve the pitches in India.
The Indian board is taking a serious view of Crowe's report in which he termed the wicket in Ahmedabad as 'below average.'
MiD DAY has also learnt that Daljit Singh, the chairman of the pitches and grounds committee, has sent out letters to all association staging the India-Sri Lanka one-day matches.
Daljit has urged groundsman to prepare good tracks, which should be firm, have good carry and bounce, not have much lateral movement and have a uniform cover of grass.
