The Indian cricket board was not completely isolated in the International Cricket Council (ICC) Board meeting last month in Dubai where they outvoted in terms of revenue-sharing and cricket governance.
It is learnt that the England and Wales Cricket Board supported BCCI in their call for a major share. "ECB's Giles Clarke took N Srinivasan's line on the revenue-sharing formula at the meeting, but Cricket Australia chief David Peever countered him aggressively.
There was a heated argument between Clarke and Peever. After gauging the mood of other members, Clarke decided not to argue further and voted against BCCI, " said a source.
