He has played local tournaments for Shivaji Park Gymkhana Club, Orient Shipping before finally settling down at DY Patil nine years ago. He was always ignored due to the abundance of resources Mumbai had in the spin department. However, his consistent exploits with bat and ball in local tournaments made the selectors ignore the age factor. He made his debut for Mumbai earlier this year in Vijay Hazare Trophy. u00a0
