The Indian cricket board yesterday clarified that all dues of Deccan Chargers players for the last season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) have been paid.
In a statement, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Sanjay Jagdale said: “The BCCI wishes to clarify that all players dues for the last season have been met in respect of players who represented Deccan Chargers in IPL 2012.”

Jagdale added that the Supreme Court had dismissed the Special Leave Petition filed by the Deccan Chronicle Holdings Limited (DCHL), owners of Deccan Chargers, against the order of Oct 18 given by the Bombay High Court which upheld BCCI’s decision of terminating the Hyderabad-based team.
