Harare: Dhananjaya de Silva starred with the bat as Sri Lanka won their first tri-series match against Zimbabwe by eight wickets here yesterday.
Opener De Silva hit an unbeaten 78 off 75 balls as the visitors took just 24.3 overs to chase down Zimbabwe's total of 154.
Peter Moor (47) top-scored for the hosts before being trapped lbw by Nuwan Kulasekara as Zimbabwe were bowled out with more than eight overs unused.
Sri Lanka made an explosive start to their innings, with De Silva scoring half-century off 46 balls.
