Harsh Palande's brace helps Matunga outfit lift U-8 MSSA title after eight years with 3-1 win over Cathedral in final
Harsh Palande's brace helped Don Bosco (Matunga) beat Cathedral and John Connon (Fort) 3-1 to lift the boys' U-8 Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA) inter-school football title after eight years at Azad Maidan on Saturday.

The Matunga outfit contested the finals of the last five editions, but finished runners-up on all all five occasions.
Bosco's Keith Fernandes drew first blood in the 11th minute and six-year-old skipper Harsh doubled the lead in the second half.
Rohit Jogani pulled one back for Cathedral in the 35th minute. But, it was Harsh's brilliant solo effort minutes later that stole the show.
"For the last few years we have been reaching the final, but never won it. So, I'm glad that we could win the
U-8 title after a gap of eight years," said Don Bosco coach Leslie Machado.
"I'm very happy as I won two awards. My dad had told me that if I do well, he will buy me a new ball. I am glad I won it here," said Harsh, who was awarded a ball after being adjudged the best player of the tournament. He was also named theu00a0 highest goal-scorer with 26 goals this season.
