Indian batsman Gautam Gambhir may finally see himself make a comeback to Team India after opener Lokesh Rahul's hamstring injury in the first Test.
The Delhi batsman will reportedly undergo a fitness test today ahead of his probable return to the team for the next Test match against New Zealand in Kolkata.

Gautam Gambhir last played for India in 2014 during their Test match against England.
KL Rahul suffered a hamstring in the Kanpur Test, which India beat New Zealand by 197 runs. Shikhar Dhawan, India's 12th man came in for Rahul on the field as a substitute.

As reported by India Today, the team's coach Anil Kumble has apparently asked for Gautam Gambhir to be called back to Team India ahead of the second Test at Eden Gardens on September 30th.
