It is learnt that some team owners were not happy to see Board of Control for Cricket in India biggie N Srinivasan at the auction room on Saturday.
Some reckon it is a conflict of interest since Srinivasan owns Chennai Super Kings, who were part of the player auction. Srinivasan sat with IPL commissioner Chirayu Amin and Rajiv Shukla. When Amin was asked about Srinivasan's presence, he said, "there is not a conflict of interest. He is a governing council member. He can sit with us." The IPL has gone through some turbulent times with former BCCI chief also having a problem with Srinivasan being part of the Board as well as owning Chennai Super Kings. The team is led by M S Dhoni.
