"I was not thinking about anything special. I just wanted to keep it simple and attack stump to stump," said Tambe who was adjudged man-of-the-match for his three for 10 in four overs to jolt CSK. He said his side wanted to keep a step ahead of CSK and that helped them win the semifinal clash.

"I don't think they (CSK) were under pressure. They are a champion team but we had planned to keep a step ahead of them. That is we were attacking right from beginning and that paid," said Tambe, who is now the highest wicket-taker in this CLT20 edition with 10 scalps in his kitty, last night.

Talking about Ajinkya Rahane's fine 70-run innings, Tambe said, "It was a fine effort by Rahane but we think more of our performance as a team. Royals always play a team and that has been our strength."

Asked what was the mood at the RR dressing room at the break when they were restricted to 159, much below their expectation Tambe said that his team was still confident.

"We knew it was a big match and 160 run target in semifinal clash was not a bad score. There is always a pressure when chasing," said the seasoned leg-spinner who turns 42 on Tuesday.

Asked if he had bowled to a plan to CSK skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Tambe said, "I troubled him a bit because I was able to land on the line I wanted to." He said her was "not worried about playing the final at Delhi as the team has self belief and can succeed in all conditions".u00a0
