Harbhajan Singh had met Sahara Parivar boss Suborto Roy during his visit to Aamby Valley City few months ago. The duo once again met during the Sahara Awards in Mumbai on October 30. It is reliably learnt that Roy is keen on having Harbhajan as the skipper of his franchise, which debuts in 2011.
Sources within Mumbai Indians revealed that only one or two of the maximum of four players are likely to be retained by the franchise. Earlier this year, captain Sachin Tendulkar expressed his disappointment about having a fresh squad, especially after reaching the IPL-3 final.
