New Delhi: Former Queens Park Rangers stopper Bruno Perone is set to turn out for Kerala Blasters in the second edition of Indian Super League football. The Kochi-based outfit made the signing of the 28-year-old Brazilian public on social media platform twitter today.

"DRUMROLL Can we have a huge cheer for our Kerala Blasters Centre Back, Bruno Caldini Perone?" Kerala Blasters wrote on their twitter handle.
The central defender, who turned out for QPR in the English Premier League in the 2011-12 season, is the first overseas defender to sign for the Sachin Tendulkar co-owned ISL franchisee this year.
Perone has also played for Brazilian clubs Corinthians Paranaense and Figueirense FC apart from Xerez in Spain. Last season, he represented Brazilllian Novorizontino, who finished second in the Paulista A2, the second division state league in Sao Paolo.
