Car seva at the ground
There is no doubting the popularity of Indian cricketers. They are used to 'rock-star' like reception wherever they go. It was no different here on Saturday as they practised on the eve of the final ODI against Sri Lanka. With a few metres separating the stadium and its practice arena, a huge crowd gathered on the common road in between which leads to practice nets, to get a glimpse of their favourite Indian cricketers. While the security managed to take the players safely to the practice arena, the team officials decided to use a couple of cars to take the players back to the stadium to avoid any untoward incident. Cricketers, surely are a pampered lot in India.
