Rising Pune Supergiants' Irfan Pathan may not have got a lot of opportunities to play in Indian Premier League's ninth edition, but the all-rounder is keeping himself busy.

The Baroda lad recently took to Twitter to promote the idea of donating old or unused cycles for underprivileged children.

Irfan along with some committed individuals donated recycled bicycles to those unable to commute to school due to lack of transport in rural parts of Maharashtra.
The 31-year-old cricketer commended the effort put in by journalist Sunandan Lele in distributing the recycled cycles.
The group had earlier collected 40 unused bicycles, repaired and donated them to poor students of New English School in Vinzar village in Pune district.

The Pune Supergiant had earlier also visited children at Mumbai's KEM Hospital along with teammates Ajinkya Rahane and Ishant Sharma. Ishant, Irfan and Rahane interacted with the children and encouraged them to keep fighting.
