Police have recovered some of the stolen cricket kit and other memorabilia belonging to the late Ben Hollioake.
The cricket equipment stolen by burglars from his parents’ home.u00a0Hollioake’s brother Adam yesterday morning broke the news on Twitter and made an emotional appeal for the return of the stolen articles. Melbourne-born Hollioake, who died in a car crash in Perth at the age of 24 in 2002, played two Tests and 20 one-day internationals for England.

Later in the day, after some of the equipment was found, a relieved Adam expressed his gratitude. “Can’t thank you all and the media for the amazing response to my bro’s stolen kit. Without you there is doubt we would have retrieved any of his kit back,” he tweeted.u00a0
