"The ICC can well be the voice of cricket, the BCCI is the invoice," said Pataudi while delivering a lecture to bring the curtain down on the Summit organised by Jaideep Singh Parmar to mark the 75th birth anniversary of former BCCI chief Raj Singh Dungarpur, who passed away in 2009. Parmar is the grand nephew of Raj Singh.

Pataudi added: "We would like to see a more practical, more eloquent and a more constructive BCCI in world matters.u00a0

"It is of course a democratically elected body and we are fine with that. But it keeps its doors very closed so that none of us actually know what is happening behind those doors."
