Former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni played which can be called one of his slowest innings ever in ODIs during India's fourth match against West Indies.
Chasing a total of 189, MS Dhoni reached his half-century in 108 deliveries. Dhoni ended up with a score of 54 of 114 balls. In the process, MS Dhoni surpassed Sourav Ganguly's record of a lowest fifty in 16 years.
Sourav Ganguly reached his fifty in 105 balls in 2005 vs Sri Lanka and then in 104 balls in 2007 against Bangladesh.
However, MS Dhoni was only the second Indian cricketer to score a fifty in the match. Earlier, Ajinkya Rahane scored 60 runs which was also his fourth consecutive ODI half-century in a row.
MS Dhoni had some praises as well hatred from Twitter fans that came his way. Here are some of the Twitter reactions after MS Dhoni's slow innings.
