Mirpur: Bangladesh were 152-3 — a lead of 128 runs in the second innings at stumps on Day Two of the second Test against England here on Saturday.
Bangladesh openers Tamim Iqbal (40) and Imrul Kayes (59 not out) put up 65 runs for the opening stand after Chris Woakes and Adil Rashid shared 99 runs in the ninth wicket to give England a vital 24-run first innings lead.
Bangladesh’s teenage off-spinner Mehedi Hasan finished with 6-82 in the first innings, his second five-wicket haul in as many matches.
