Though Mumbai 'A' are not expected to win against a full-strength England side, skipper Surya Kumar Yadav stressed that the visitors won't have it easy in the second warm-up tie here.
“We are hoping to give them a tough fight. We have some very talented players. If we can unsettle them (England) before the Test series, it would be great,” Yadav said on the eve of the match.
Coach Pradeep Sundaram is hoping the boys make this opportunity count. “You cannot take this match lightly. If these guys perform well against England, they get into the reckoning for India,” said Sundaram.
Meanwhile, only two England players — Monty Panesar and Jonny Bairstow — practised yesterday. England are waiting on the result of Bairstow’s fitness test after the stand-by wicketkeeper-batsman tweaked his thigh muscle. If Bairstow fails to recover in time, Matt Prior will have to keep wickets again.u00a0
