Mumbai Indians stayed atop the Indian Premier League (IPL) with a comprehensive 32-run win over Delhi Daredevils at the Wankhede Stadium here Saturday.

Chasing a target of 179 runs, Daredevils were bowled out for 142 in 19.5 overs. James Hopes was the top scorer with 55 while Y.Venugopal Rao made 37.
The win took the Mumbai Indians a step towards the knock-out stage and Daredevils towards elimination.
Mumbai Indians were clearly the dominant team. Put in to bat first, they rode on blistering knocks from Ambati Rayudu (59) and Rohit Sharma (49) to get a challenging 178 for four in 20 overs.
The hosts got a great start courtesy 50-run stand between openers Aiden Blizzard (37) and skipper Sachin Tendulkar (14).
Shahbaz Nadeem and Irfan Pathan pulled things back for Delhi as they picked up Blizzard and Tendulkar in quick succession.
But Rayudu and Sharma took the Mumbai Indians to a challenging total with a 87-run stand for the third wicket.
For Daredevils, the battle was over in the third over when David Warner (2), Virender Shewag (1), Colin Ingram (1) and Naman Ojha (1) were back in the pavilion with just seven runs on board.
Hopes and Venugopal Rao attempted a fight-back with their 87-run stand for the fifth wicket, but the battle was already lost.
