Pic/AFP Lee, who retired from Test cricket in 2010 after being troubled by injuries said, it was quite a challenge to keep himself motivated but music helped him cope with several personal crises. &ldquo;At 17, I was told by the doctor that I could never play cricket because of an elbow injury but I told him I will live my dream. Music had a huge role to play in keeping me motivated. Music provided relief after a bad day in cricket,&rdquo; he said. &ldquo;I am passionate about music &mdash; perhaps even more so than cricket. Actually, if you took cricket out of my life, I&rsquo;d be sad. But if you took music out of my life, I&rsquo;d be devastated,&rdquo; he added.

Australian cricket star Brett Lee, yesterday donned the mantle of a healer when he inaugurated his Music Therapy Academy as one of the core initiatives of his charity foundation "Mewsic" in India.
